In 1986 the idea of creating the Sanagra Valley Ethnographic Natural History Museum at the behest of the City Council chaired by former. mayor Butti Natale.
In that year, a resolution was passed on thepurchase by Villa Camozzi envisioning its use as a Convention Center, Museum, Cultural Center and Museum Headquarters.
Following these events, theVoluntary association "History, Nature and Life" to which the Grandola administration refers the planning and implementation of the Museum.
L’Associazione “Storia, Natura e Vita”, senza finalità di lucro, Has as its purpose the promotion and development of cultural, artistic and natural heritage Of the municipal area and its traditions.
The Association may also carry out all those activities, none excluded or excepted, which its statutory bodies will recognize as useful for the attainment of the Association's purposes, including all asset, financial, movable and real estate transactions related to such activity.
The Association to further the achievement of its purposes. Will be able to manage facilities that it has the availability of, including under lease or commodate contracts, and affiliate with those associations deemed most suitable for the pursuit of its social purposes.
The Association for the pursuit of its social aims and purposes may resolve to welcome other associations into its fold.
