Description

The bird trap was a tool used by hunters to catch small birds. It worked by means of a snap mechanism that was activated when the animal stepped onto a plate placed over the trap. Its purpose was to catch sparrows and other small birds, especially during hunting trips. It was used in various environments such as backyards, woods or open land where birds could be easily attracted to the trap.
