Description
The tool was used to put babies to sleep during the first months of life. It was an infant bed supported by four legs, joined together two by two by a curved axle that allowed swinging. The wooden surface was decorated with a floral carving pattern. The baby was placed there and rocked by moving the plank at the base of the cradle.
