Description

The pipe was used by hunters during hunting trips for smoking. Consisting of a bone and brass stove with a leather-covered blowpipe, it was wielded to smoke tobacco during breaks in the hunt.

Preserved specimen

pipe consisting of a stove, the chamber where combustion takes place, made of bone and shaped like a horn ending on one side with a small brass cap. The stove connects to a thin perforated stem, the blowpipe, covered with white-colored animal hair, and an end piece, the mouthpiece.
