Description
The tool was used by masons to lift weights by means of a rope. Consisting of a wooden disc with an iron pin, it was an indispensable tool on construction sites.

Preserved specimen
The contraption consists of a solid wooden disk, revolving idly around a central iron pin locked by two cotter pins on each side and supported by a stirrup. A hook is inserted in the upper part of the bracket. Along the circumference of the disk is the rope guide groove
