The utensil, used to hold the gazzosa, featured a marble and a rubber washer, which were opposed by gas pressure. To open it, one would push on the marble with the tip of the finger, dropping it inside and allowing the liquid to spill out. It was an everyday tool for consuming carbonated drinks in a practical and easy way.
In the neck of the blue-colored glass bottle is a movable glass marble and inside is a rubber washer. At three-quarters of the bottle there is a separation between the neck and the body preventing the marble from falling. Inside the neck protrude two depressions that held the marble when drinking.
