The corking machine was used to cork wine bottles. During the process, the cork was pushed with pressure to the mouth of the wine-filled bottle, thus sealing the contents for storage. This tool was essential in winemaking work, ensuring an airtight closure of the bottles. In the winery, the corker was frequently used to complete the process of bottling and preparing wine for sale or aging.
Tool consisting of a thin iron handle, equipped with a knob for easy grip, attached to a wooden board from which an iron cork pusher departs for inserting the cork into the mouth of the bottle.
