Description
The tool was used to cut tree trunks during wood cutting work. It was held with both hands, and the blade was passed over the log several times to make the cut.

Preserved specimen
The tool consists of a central rod where at the two ends are two mortises into which two handles fit to have movement. Parallel to the central rod are on one side the toothed blade and on the other two notches to which a rope is tied, in the center of which is inserted the notola that keeps the blade taut.
