Description
The saw was a tool used to cut wood. One held the handle with one hand and rubbed repeatedly and forcefully on the piece of wood to be cut, sliding the blade back and forth. The saw was one of the main tools used by the carpenter to reduce pieces of wood to the desired size and was used daily in the carpenter's store.
