Description

The sponderuola was used in the carpenter's workshop to make frames and shaped edges in wood. The tool, held in one hand, was slid along the edge of a board and pushed forward in a fluid motion. This process allowed the edges of the wood to be shaped, creating decorative and precise shapes for frames or other joinery items. The sponderuola was an essential tool for achieving fine, detailed finishes, thanks to the carpenter's skill in handling the tool.
