Description
The tool was used to grind coffee or barley beans. Made of wood and iron, it had a removable drawer, an external crank and an internal gear wheel that operated the grinding mechanism.

Preserved specimen
The wooden surface is cubic in shape, with a wider base. On one of the outer faces is carved the removable drawer, fitted with a small knob in the center. On the upper face, larger than the others, is placed the funnel of hemispherical shape. Inside is the toothed wheel, connected to the outer crank, fitted at the end with turned handle
