Description

The tool was used to grind coffee during daily use. Coffee beans were introduced into the opening provided, and one hand operated the crank that allowed grinding. The contents were then collected from the drawer.

Preserved specimen

Wooden surface formed by a parallelepiped with an oval base from which a drawer has been carved. On the upper face is placed the funnel of hemispherical shape, closed by two doors but openable to introduce the beans. Inside is a gear wheel connected to a crank.
