Description

The hammer was used in the blacksmith's forge to forge and work iron, an indispensable tool in daily use. Gripped firmly, the hammer was used to beat iron over the anvil, shaping and molding it according to the needs of the work. With precise and powerful blows, the blacksmith was able to give the desired shape to the metal, whether to create tools or other iron works. This process required great strength and skill, which were essential to achieve perfect and lasting results.
