Nesdale Alp
L'Nesdale Alp, still used for grazing, rises above the ridge of Mount Bregagno and boasts a extraordinary panoramic view.
It is in close connection with the Sant Amate saddle, an easy passage to reach the famous Menaggio Refuge and the summit of Mt. Grona.
Alpe Nesdale can be reached by starting from Plesio and following the path 35 for the Menaggio Refuge, then the path 10 for the church of St. Amate and finally the path 9 which then goes on to theBallarona Alp and the Bocchetta di Rozzo [download trail map]
