Wren

The Wren is a very small bird, with a length of about 10 cm. It has a compact, rounded body, with the plumage of the back, wings and tail a brown color, sometimes with slight barring on the wings and flanks. The abdomen is paler, with small black features decorating the ventral area. The characteristic light eyebrow highlights the face, while the tail, short and pointed, is usually kept well raised. The beak is long and thin, adapted for picking up small insects and invertebrates. The legs, long and strong, are ideal for climbing and rapid movement between branches and the ground. The wren is known for its lively, agile and skittish behavior and its ability to squeeze into tight spaces, making it an adept explorer of its environment.
