Preserved specimen
Fossil of the medullary region of the bark of a horsetail of the genus Calamites. The specimen is found charred in ua siltstone formed by clay classes, the matrix is fine (Manno conglomerate formation). The stem consists of an anthracitic carbonaceous deposit that covers the entire thickness of the specimen.
