Preserved specimen
A plant fossil, it is probably what remains of the medullary region of the bark of a horsetail; however, the rest appears strongly anthracitic and too deformed by crushing. The specimen is found charred on a siltstone formed by clay clasts of fine matrix (Manno conglomerate formation). Unfortunately, not enough characters can be detected to identify the genus to which it belongs, a fortiori the species.
