From Spin location, located near the hamlet of Naggio, you take the path to theAlpe Logone.
Shortly afterwards you reach the large plateau of the Garlasca Valley where you meet the path leading to the alp.
During the trail, a small, partially ruined building is encountered: this is the canteen of the old coal mines.
To reach the mine access, it is necessary to return to the plateau entrance to take the opposite direction.
The path enters the forest and, passing a small crag, descends to the mine, the only example of presence of hard coal south of the Alps.
Le mines are not visitable as they are completely abandoned and unsafe.
The entire area also has high paleontological importance given the presence of fossiliferous stones of worldwide significance.
